MACC asked to investigate corruption in GLC subsidiary
PUTRAJAYA, Dec 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was today asked to investigate corruption and power abuse involving a government-linked company's subsidiary firm worth about RM160 million.
1Malaysia Graduates Club secretary Ezaruddin Abd Rahman said they received information that corruption in the over 50-years-old company had been occurring since 2006.
The memorandum claimed that tenders awarded did not follow procedure and were given to a company which had the interest of one of its board members, among others.
Ezaruddin said four names of those involved were also mentioned in the 50-page memorandum. [ lagi ]
