CC to block a second EGM?

KUALA LUMPUR: It has been learned by Sin Chew Daily that at least one third of all MCA central committee members are prepared to call for a central committee meeting soon to make a clearer stand on the outcome of the October 10 emergency general meeting (EGM).

At the same time, the coming meeting should also discuss whether there is the need or justification for another EGM.

Several central committe members said if party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat refused to call for another central committee meeting, at least one third of all CC members would request the party secretary-general to call for the CC meeting which would then be chaired by the new deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.- + selanjutnya
