Koh: MACC boss should not comment on specific cases

PETALING JAYA: Senior officers of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) have been urged not to issue statements that can be construed as prejudicial to ongoing investigations or the inquest into the death of Teoh Beng Hock.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said MACC officers should be more sensitive to the feelings of Teoh’s family, regardless of the cause of death which would be determined by the inquest.

He was responding to the outcry by Teoh’s family members against a remark reportedly made by MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan on Sunday. - + selanjutnya
