It was the cops after all who came a-calling for Sivanesan
Lawyer Gobind Singh Deo confirmed that three plainclothes policemen had gone to Sivanesan’s house in Jenjarom while he was out. They left a message with a family member asking him to report to the Jenjarom police station at 11pm.
When Sivanesan — who claimed that anti-graft officers had assaulted him last year — got the message, he immediately called Gobind sometime between 8 and 8.30pm. Gobind then met Sivanesan at his home and both went to the police station at 10pm.
However, the policeman who had left the message earlier was not there. They waited 15 minutes and left their contact details with the other officers. - + selanjutnya
