Khir declared assets to MACC on time

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Mohd Khir Toyo has met the deadline for declaration of his assets to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

His lawyers were said to have submitted the declaration on his behalf to officers at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya on Thursday.

Dr Khir had until Thursday to declare his assets, failing which he could be charged in court, said a source familiar with the case.

It is understood that the MACC's investigation on Dr Khir, which began early this year, is expected to be completed by next week.- + selanjutnya
