Azmin: Anyone from PKR can go anywhere to strengthen party
KUALA LUMPUR: Nobody is stopping any PKR leader, including party member Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, from attending party events in Sabah, says PKR vice-president Azmin Ali.
He urged Zaid to explain immediately to the party what he meant when he said party adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had not given his consent to Zaid to visit the state.
“There isn’t any directive forbidding any leaders, including Zaid, to go on the ground to meet party members to strengthen the party,” he said.
“In fact, we encourage all central party leaders and our MPs from the peninsula to go to Sabah and Sarawak. I have no problems with Zaid,” he told mStar Online in an interview at his brother Azwan Ali’s house in Ukay Perdana here yesterday.- + selanjutnya
