Shahrir: Isa should support, not contest
He said that if Isa contested, he would definitely win as he had the full support of the community but it would be a good time for him to help pave the way for a generational shift.
“I feel that the decision should lie in the hands of the party,” he said at his Hari Raya open house in Dewan Tebrau here.
“We do not want to be known as a party of senior members or tok, tok (elderly), but we also want to pave the way for the younger generation,” he said.- + selanjutnya
