I had a nightmare about cow-heads

The Prime Minister says Muslims must not insult people of other religions. The advice should be directed to the Malays who paraded the severed cow head in Shah Alam recently. Not Muslims in general as a majority of us Muslims are dead against the disgraceful act.

Anyway like said in this column a week or so ago, every time I comment on the protest against the temple relocation it must be kept short lest I get emotional. So it's the same this time.

In my last comment about the issue I wrote that the people who had paraded the cow head had no desire to discuss the issue. All they wanted was to have it their way. Nothing else matters.

Nevertheless the Menteri Besar of Selangor wanted to talk things out and called for a dialogue. And we all know what happened at the session held last Saturday. There's no need for me to repeat the obscenities thrown at Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and the way the cow head protesters conducted themselves. Suffice to say, in short the MB was "shouted out" of any discussion he intended to have. That is to put it mildly. An understatement, in fact. - + selanjutnya
