Don't accept Hasan into Umno, says Dr M

BANTING: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Umno should not accept embattled Selangor Pas commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Ali if he wanted to join the party.

"No, not Hasan. He boasted that the government spent RM1 million for him to get a doctorate and after that he repaid us by turning his back on the government. That's his gratitude.

"Politicians in this country do not know how to be thankful. You bring them up but they hit you in the head."
