Kugan’s death: Constable’s trial set for Feb 18
PETALING JAYA: The Sessions Court here has fixed Feb 13 next year for the trial of a police constable charged with causing grievous hurt to A. Kugan, who died while in police custody.
Judge Aslam Zainuddin on Thursday fixed one week for the trial.
V. Navindran, 28, of the Subang USJ police station faces two counts of causing grievous hurt to Kugan, 23, to extract a confession from him.
The offences were allegedly committed at the interrogation room of the D9 office, Taipan police station, Subang Jaya, at 7am and 4pm on Jan 16.- + selanjutnya
