'Cuti-cuti Malaysia' deputy minister quits

[...] The Samarahan MP, who allegedly prefered to spend time abroad than live up to his ministry's Cuti-Cuti Malaysia theme, reportedly tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak last month, citing health reasons.
However, his political opponents are not taking his reasons seriously as they alleged he had been ‘sleeping on the job’ and had been incompetent in his work in the high-profile ministry that provides much economic impetus to the country.
More sympathetic observers said it was due to the poor treatment allegedly accorded to him by some parliamentary and Cabinet colleagues and the neglect by the Federal authorities to Sarawak and Sabah.
The PM, who has had a tight schedule over the past month at home and overseas, has apparently not given much thought yet to his letter and has not given an official acceptance of Sulaiman’s resignation.- + selanjutnya
