ROS ruling on Dr Chua purely legal, says PM
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today the ruling by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) that Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek is still the MCA deputy president is "purely legal".
He said the ROS had based its decision on provisions in the party constitution that the dismissal of appointed or elected officials required a two-third majority of the delegates.
"That is why they said that Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek is still the MCA deputy president. It is the same provision that keeps Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat as MCA president. - + selanjutnya
