Hadi orders meeting over Nik Aziz’s EGM call

LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Embattled PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang broke his silence today over the party’s spiritual leader’s call to oust “problematic leaders” by ordering a meeting to discuss the issue.

The conservative leader also said he did not want PAS’s internal issues debated in any media but through consultations according to party traditions.

“I have directed the PAS secretary-general to decide a suitable date as soon as possible to hold a meeting to discuss the issues that have cropped up,” Hadi said in a statement released late tonight. - + selanjutnya
