PAS may take disciplinary action against Khalid Samad

PETALING JAYA: The tables could have turned on PAS’ outspoken Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad.

The central committee member, who has been calling for action against Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hasan Ali over his criticism of the state assembly’s Select Committee for Competency, Accoun- tability and Transparency (Selcat), could now face the party’s disciplinary action himself.

Party sources said the Selangor PAS management committee had decided last Saturday to refer Khalid to the party’s disciplinary committee for making statements which “did not reflect the party’s stand and grassroots sentiments.”

It is learnt that the committee would soon write to secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali calling for action against Khalid. - + selanjutnya
