Government winning in battle against moneylenders
KUALA LUMPUR: The Govern-ment’s effort to fight against illegal moneylenders has seen some impact in just under three months.
The number of loan shark-related cases received by the MCA Public Services and Complaints Department has fallen.
Its head Datuk Michael Chong said he used to receive an average of 50 cases per month but now it had dropped by almost half to 83 cases from July 1 to Sept 18.- + selanjutnya
