Subra welcomes open debate with Samy
PETALING JAYA: Former MIC deputy president Datuk S. Subramaniam welcomes the idea of an open debate with Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu to discuss Indian community issues and the party’s direction.
Speaking to reporters at Koperasi Nesa’s presentation of Education Merit Awards here yesterday, Subramaniam said he had no problem debating with the MIC president and touted it as a good idea.
The ceremony saw 18 students, the children of Koperasi Nesa members, who did well in their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia and Sijil Pelajaran Tinggi Malaysia examinations awarded between RM800 and RM1,500 each. - + selanjutnya
