PKR rubbishes secret pact to dish out Alam Flora contracts

PETALING JAYA, June 10 — Senior Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) leaders today rubbished charges that the Selangor state government, ruled by Pakatan Rakyat (PR), allegedly dished out lucrative contracts on solid waste management here.

Vice-president Sivarasa Rasiah said there was no secret pact to split Alam Flora contracts three-ways among the PR partners.

He dismissed claims by a dissatisfied local councillor that PKR gets the lion’s share of the deal and the other 60 per cent are split equally between DAP and PAS.

Sivarasa said some companies were recommended by the parties but stressed that Alam Flora made the final call on who gets the cleaning contracts. - minsider
