Ong refuses to resign, Liow appointed deputy

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat refuses to resign, and is willing to face all the consequences.

Ong did not talk to the press after the central committee meeting today. Instead, he wrote in his blog that he had directed the party secretary-general to call for another EGM under article 30.1 of the party constitution.

The EGM will have two resolutions, whether to dissolve the central committee and to seek re-affirmation and retain the central committee led by Ong.- + selanjutnya
