Think carefully before accepting Ibrahim

KUALA KRAI, Oct 18 — Kelantan Umno Youth wants the party's supreme council to consider carefully before accepting former Pasir Mas Umno division head Datuk Ibrahim Ali's re-entry into Umno to avoid recurrence of his past action.

Its secretary Bazlan Baharuddin said what the party had experienced when Ibrahim contested against Barisan Nasional (BN) in a by-election in 2005 should serve as a realisation for BN.

Besides being in and out Umno, Ibrahim again contested as an independent against BN in the last general election on a PAS ticket, he said when asked to comment on the suggestion by some quarters that the Pasir Mas MP be accepted back into Umno.

Bazlan said Ibrahim might feel that his future was uncertain as his position of late had been questioned by certain quarters in PAS for responding negatively to PAS’s statements.- + selanjutnya
