Penang MACC probe on Fairus completed
GEORGE TOWN: The Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission in Penang has completed its investigation into alleged corruption involving former Deputy Chief Minister I Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin.
The commission’s Penang director, Latifah Md Yatim, said the investigation papers had been forwarded to the legal and prosecution division at the Putrajaya headquarters for further instruction.
She, however, declined to reveal any more details on the matter.
The case was reopened in August after the commission claimed it had obtained additional documentary evidence from the public. - + selanjutnya
